mechanicals.
The original Le-Seyde series used the Silvia S13 underpinnings and early cars were fitted with Nissans 1.8L DOHC (CA18DE) engine the platform/mechanical basis is the reason these cars are practical to service despite their coachbuilt body.
Production of the initial run is widely reported as 500 units, and Mitsuoka claimed the first run sold out very quickly
