Australian
finance.

Importify Cars, in partnership with iCREDIT, offers finance built for imported vehicles, so an Australian buyer can fund the car and the cost of getting it here in one repayment.

Apply with iCREDIT

Importing a car into Australia costs more than the car. Shipping, duties, customs clearance, compliance work and registration all land before you drive it, and a standard car loan written against a dealer’s invoice doesn’t account for any of it.

iCREDIT are an Australian finance broker who write this kind of lending deliberately. They understand what an import actually costs, they’re comfortable with the vehicles we sell: JDM performance cars, European classics, collectables, and they can structure the borrowing around the landed cost rather than the sticker price.

Finance is arranged entirely by iCREDIT. Importify sells and imports the vehicle; we don’t assess applications, approve credit, set rates or hold your loan.

What it covers.

The landed cost, not just the car

Finance can cover the purchase price together with shipping, import duties, customs clearance, compliance modifications and registration, the whole landed cost in one repayment, instead of the car on finance and thousands in fees out of pocket.

Built for imported vehicles

JDM performance cars, European classics and collectables are awkward to finance through a mainstream lender, because they don't fit a standard dealer valuation. iCREDIT write this business specifically, so an import isn't an exception they have to make.

Applications assessed individually

iCREDIT work with a panel of lenders and assess each application on its own merits, including self-employed buyers and ABN holders. Terms, deposit and eligibility are theirs to confirm. We don't assess or approve finance.

How it works.

STEP
01

Find the vehicle

Pick the car you want from our inventory. If it's still in Japan or on the water, that's fine. Finance is arranged around the landed vehicle, not the shipping date.

STEP
02

Talk to iCREDIT

Head to iCREDIT and start an application or a conversation with a loan specialist. Tell them it's an Importify import and roughly what the vehicle and landed costs will be.

STEP
03

They assess and structure it

iCREDIT confirm what you can borrow, over what term, and what the repayments look like. Every part of that (approval, rate, term, fees) is between you and them.

STEP
04

We get on with the import

With finance sorted, we handle the purchase, export, shipping, compliance and delivery to you in Australia, exactly as we would for a cash buyer.

Australian import finance questions.

Can you finance a car imported into Australia?
Yes. Importify Cars works with iCREDIT, an Australian finance broker who write lending for imported vehicles specifically. Finance can cover the vehicle together with shipping, import duties, customs clearance, compliance modifications and registration, so the landed cost is one repayment rather than a car loan plus thousands in fees out of pocket.
Does the finance cover shipping and compliance, or just the car?
iCREDIT can structure the borrowing around the full landed cost, not only the purchase price. That matters for an Australian import because compliance work and duties arrive before the car is drivable, and a loan written against the sticker price alone leaves those to be found in cash.
Who provides the finance, Importify or iCREDIT?
iCREDIT. Importify Cars sells and imports the vehicle; we are not a credit provider, credit broker or financial adviser, and we do not assess applications, approve credit, set rates or hold your loan. Applications, approval and terms are entirely between you and iCREDIT.
What kinds of vehicles can be financed?
The vehicles Importify imports: JDM performance cars, European classics, collectables and other specialist vehicles. These are awkward for a mainstream Australian lender because they do not fit a standard dealer valuation, which is precisely the business iCREDIT write deliberately.
Do I have to use iCREDIT to buy a car from Importify?
No. Buying a vehicle from Importify Cars is not conditional on using them, and their approval is not a condition of any sale. They are offered because financing an import through a lender who understands imports is usually easier than through one who does not.
Can I get finance before the car arrives in Australia?
Talk to iCREDIT early. Finance for an import is arranged around the landed vehicle rather than the shipping date, so a car still in Japan or on the water is a normal starting point rather than an obstacle. Knowing your position before you commit is the point of asking early.
