What you want, which specification, and what you want to spend. The minimum budget is $15,000 USD. Your $1,000 USD downpayment starts the search.

We search

We watch the auctions for cars that fit and send you a shortlist as they come up.

A 20% deposit, in advance

Before we bid on a car for you, you pay a deposit of 20% of its total estimated FOB price. We bid to your limit and no further. The deposit is refunded ONLY if we do not win the car. If we win it, the deposit is not refundable: it goes towards the price.

The balance within 72 hours

Win it and the balance is due within 72 hours of the auction closing, by international wire transfer, with proof of the transfer sent to us.

Export and shipping

We handle the export paperwork and get the car on its way to you. Freight to your port is quoted before you commit.

The $1,000 USD downpayment

Paid online when you place your request, so we can start the search. It is non-refundable, and it comes off our 7.95% service fee, so you do not pay it twice. The 20% deposit we ask for before bidding is a separate payment. It is refunded only if we do not win the car; once we win it, it is not refundable.

  • The minimum budget for an import request is $15,000 USD.
  • Each car we have physically inspected in Japan costs ¥3,500, charged to you weekly for the inspections carried out that week.
  • The balance is due within 72 hours of the auction closing, by international wire transfer, with proof of the transfer sent to us.
  • Getting the car registered or road legal in your country, and any servicing, is your responsibility and not included.

A service,
not a car sale.

  • We are not selling you a car. An import request is a service: we find a car at auction and buy it on your behalf, then arrange its export to you.
  • We are not responsible for the car’s condition. That includes rust, engine or transmission problems, other mechanical faults, and anything that affects registering it in your country, whether they are found before or after the car arrives.
  • We can only work from what is known at the time. The auction house’s grading and any inspection are the best information available, but none of them can see everything under the paint or inside an engine.
  • There is always a risk in importing a car. Our job is to lower it, using our professional experience to pick the right car and tell you what we know. We cannot remove it.
  • Registration in your country, local compliance, on-road costs and any repairs are yours.
