# Subaru Impreza WRX STI Version 8 Spec C Professionally Built Race Car
* RCM 2.1L forged stroker engine
* Garrett Gen II GTX3076R rotated turbo conversion (RCM kit)
* RCM dry sump oil system
* Flex fuel tuned (E100 & 98)
* 378kW at the wheels (approx. 500WHP) & 691Nm on E100
* 348kW at the wheels & 521Nm on 98
* Full motorsport roll cage tied into the front strut towers and rear wing mounts
* Plumbed-in fire suppression system
* Hawkeye front-end conversion with carbon fibre bonnet and guards
* Professionally maintained by Prime Speed Sport
This Version 8 Spec C was professionally converted into a dedicated race car in 2011. At the time of the build, both the car and engine had approximately 85,000km of road use.
The original owner preferred the Hawkeye look, so the car was converted using a carbon fibre bonnet and guards. It also received a comprehensive motorsport cage, designed to increase chassis rigidity while tying into the front suspension and rear wing to better transfer aerodynamic loads.
The car competed in just one summer race season (2011/12) using a largely factory engine before being rebuilt in 2015 with an RCM 2.1L forged stroker engine and twin-scroll turbo setup. It produced 270kW at the wheels and 471Nm on E85.
After the rebuild, the car completed only two track days before being purchased by me on 28 August 2020.
AP Racing 6 Pot Calipers / AP Racing 342mmx32mm Rotos
In 2023, the twin-scroll setup was upgraded to a Garrett Gen II GTX3076R rotated turbo using an RCM kit, along with the addition of an RCM dry sump system. It is now tuned on flex fuel and produces:
E100: 378kW at the wheels (approx. 500WHP) and 691Nm
98 Octane:** 348kW at the wheels and 521Nm
All work on the car has been carried out by experienced motorsport technicians. During my ownership, every service, upgrade and repair has been completed by Phil at Prime Speed Sport (Hampton Downs), where the car has also been stored and regularly started and maintained.
This is a genuine, professionally built race car with very low track time, excellent maintenance history, and quality components throughout. It is ready to race, test, or enjoy at track days without needing further development.

An independent pre-purchase inspection is available on request — a qualified third party reports on the vehicle's condition. For a car already in New Zealand it's carried out before you pay the balance; for one still arriving, once it lands.
Once the car is secured, we handle export documentation, pre-customs cleaning and freight from New Zealand to your local port. From there your own customs broker clears it and handles your country's compliance and registration.
Pick your destination and see the estimated ocean freight for shipping this car to your local port.
