- The car has been converted to an RS2000 replica
- Currently running a 2L Pinto out of a 1978 Mk4 Cortina with a Type 9 5 speed and Mk 2 4.11 Diff (comes with a Mk2 3.89)
- Have a set of 45DOCE webers to go on and it's already running a set of headers
- The trans tunnel has been replaced (prior to my ownership) with a Palmside large tunnel, so the Type 9 fits nicely.
- The car is running a Worldcup cross member, Brakes are all out of a Mk2 sport, the front callipers have been fitted with new seals, and new wheel cylinders fitted to the rear 9inch drums
- It has been fitted with lowered front springs on Mk2 shocks and new lowered rear leaf springs.
- The interior is still a work in progress. New carpet has been fitted, the seats have all been recovered with covers from Aldridge interiors in the UK, has a new black head lining yet to be installed.
- A six dial dash and RS wheel have been fitted.
- Exterior is in good nick, with a minimal amount of rust. This is mainly in the two front guards, 2 replica Mexico guards in good condition come with the car
- The front has been converted to round headlight, but comes with the square headlights
- Bonnet will likely need some work due to someone fitting bonnet pins at some stage of the cars life
- A new set of minilight wheels and tyres have just been fitted.
- While the car runs and drives, the carb need to be tuned or serviced.
